Pentre Mawr, 4 star Country House set in 200 hundred acres in the Vale of Clwyd an area of outstanding natural beauty. Newly refurbished with 20th century facilities but 16th century elegance
Graham and Bre owners of the award winning Sychnant Pass House are delighted to open Pentre Mawr House (Graham's family home of four hundred years) as a country house. The houses mirrors Sychnant Pass in many ways. It has a lovely romantic feel to it...set as it is in near 200 acres of meadows ,park and woodland. All the little extras that Sychnant has become known for are also apparent in Pentre but it is run on a much softer line. There is a heated pool in the wall garden which is a great suntrap. Breakfast is served in the morningroom or on the Georgian terrace on warmer mornings. Dinner will be served in the formal dining room but with none of the stuffiness. There are twolovely sittingrooms all with comfy sofas and portraits of Graham's ancestors (some are quite a dour lot!!) The hidden walled garden is a lovely place to sit and read or just relax and smell the roses. The pool terraced is the perfect place to soak up the sun and enjoy a glass of fizz. A warm welcome is assured.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

From a55. Take the Caerys turn off and proceed through the town of Caerys and to the t junction at the bottom of the hill. Turn left for Denbigh. Take Left turn out of Bodfari for LLandyrnog. After the Village of Aberwheeler take the third turning on your right down a country lane.( The lane is at the 2nd red post box At the little crossroads turn right. Pentre can be seen 200yds on left hand side. Come in the kettle is on!!!
